I still can’t believe it. They’ve (finally) published a site online at Barangay Custodio.

When you say “barangay” in the Philippines, you will evoke visions of groups of people who live near one another. Not just near each other. Their houses may even stand cheek by jowl along the asphalted street.

This family of seven could not have chosen a more apt name. Barangay. I like it!

I didn’t realize Jing could write. And how! (Jing, may tinatago ka palang talent, ah.)

Anyway, I hope they feature more of the wonderful photos they’ve taken with their Canon Powershot S5 IS.

Which reminds me… I still have to send them their Christmas 2007 photos.

La Bigueña (the lass from Vigan) is a blog by Elena Cardinez (http://elena.cardinez.com). She considers herself a reluctant lawyer and amateur weblogger based on her Twitter profile.

Since she’s been blogging from April 2007, I don’t consider her an amateur blogger. Especially not after seeing that Google has indexed around 307 pages of her site.

She likes to read, though I find her visions of spinsterhood rather premature.

I do hope, however, that she’ll write more about Ilocos Sur.
