Went off to the hospital today, and remembering how the waiting time can be terrible, I decided to try using an Asus Eee PC. It will be a good time to make use of the “down time” in order to type a few articles, right? Well… not exactly.
Most of the waiting areas in hospitals are just a bunch of chairs. There are no tabletops.
That means you’ll need to prop your computer on your lap. The painfully cramped position makes it hard to type, moreso on the teeny tiny keyboard of the Asus Eee PC.
After typing out about four excruciating paragraphs, I gave up. Hello, Sudoku! Goodbye, mobile productivity.
But seriously, if you can find a good tabletop, then mobile writing with the Asus UMPC can become a wonderful reality.
