Charice would’ve wanted to sing it at a slightly faster tempo (to match the original cadence), but perhaps she was jetlagged and lacked sleep so she opted for that slightly slower speed.
Which is fine, because it allowed even more Filipinos to sing the national anthem together with her.
It’s good to see that no artist is being threatened with an RA 8491 sanction (P20,000 fine or not more than 1 year imprisonment).
