Some Empower Network blogs have been down for days, while others are online. Still, there are technical problems affecting these EN blogs.
While these technical problems have not yet been fully resolved, we are not recommending that you join Empower Network at this time.
For example, don’t be surprised if your previous blog posts are gone.
Or if you’re now unable to add javascript to new blog posts.
Or if you’re no longer able to embed YouTube videos in your posts.
We gathered that the Empower Network technical team is putting things in place, to help accommodate the surge in new members. The system that was initially designed to accept 10,000 members is now being re-tooled to accept 150,000 members.
Still, it would have been great if the Empower Network founders would communicate more with the EN bloggers regarding the downtime, as well as what can be expected in the coming days.
In the meantime, we will observe how the blogs behave in the coming days, and whether the old blog posts will get restored.
As we have recommended to other bloggers, we strongly suggest that you continue publishing online even in other places on the web. When it comes to blogging, don’t stay in just one place.
There’s Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Blogger (or Blogspot), WordPress.com, and your own hosted blogs (your dotcom blogs).
In other words, don’t put all your blog posts in one blog.
In the coming weeks, we will publish online tutorials that will help you succeed in blogging. Abangan! 🙂
