Was getting annoyed with the new tab behavior of Firefox 3.6, because I’m used to having new tabs appear on the far right, rather than just to the right of the current tab.
Fortunately, someone posted a solution online…
Found this in How To Fix Firefox 3.6 to Open New Tabs in Far Right
Type about:config in the address bar. Then, if needed click the “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button.
Next, in the filter box – type in:
tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrentRight-click that about:config entry, and select “Toggle”
Finally, back to Firefox new tabs on the far right goodness! 🙂
