The Integrated Professional Organization of Real Estate Service Practitioners (IPORESP) has a group page in Facebook…
You’ll find it at
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=123801497658445
Yes, that’s a Facebook Group page, rather than a Facebook Fan page.
Facebook Group pages are more like forums, where people get to discuss issues, protests, or some kind of cause or advocacy.
Facebook Fan pages, on the other hand, are more blog-like, and are used to highlight people, products, or less serious issues (i.e., I Like Bread).
I was wondering at first why the URL did not look something like facebook.com/iporesp but then it became apparent that it’s a FB group, and not a FB fan page.
Anyway, that’s why I’m blogging about it – so that I don’t forget the location of that group page, given the long-ish URL.
John Odonnell R. Petalcorin has an interesting discussion at IPORESP Plans and Programs.
He lists several goals and targets that he will achieve if he is Chairman of the PRB-RES. I particularly like his views on making the Real Estate Brokers’ Exam easier and more convenient to take. With the automated system, you can practically take the exam any week of the year.
