Junji Valencia is a Pinoy networker who is quite comfortable with computers. Plus, he even loves to write! That’s an amazing combination…
Most of the time, we’ll meet people who may like both marketing and computers, but may not necessarily relish the thought of writing.
That’s why my ears perk up whenever I hear about someone who is so into marketing (and health – as you will read in the About Junji Valencia page) and writing.
Usually, people will squirm whenever the thought of writing enters their mind. But Junji is not your usual guy.
Check out Junji’s blog over at http://junjivalencia.blogspot.com
I requested Junji to write 5 articles, and he promptly wrote about the 5 Things That Really Matter, how he Coped With Diabetes, Vitamin C, how Sleeping Can Be Dangerous, and how Coffee Is His Thing.
Not only does he love to write, he has a marketer’s mind.
So to all aspiring online Pinoy network marketers, read and learn from Junji. Don’t just focus on blogging/writing.
In other words, THINK MARKETING.
Look at one of the blog post titles: Sleeping Can Be Dangerous.
Doesn’t it make you want to click and read his blog post?
Now the main obstacle to success which I would like to caution you is the possiblity of writing burnout.
It’s easy to excitedly whip out 25 articles in 15 days, and then post all those articles on your blog on Day 1.
Big mistake.
What you can do is post something like, say, 5 articles. Then publish the rest at the rate of one blog post each week.
That way, your blog will have fresh and updated content over the next 20 weeks.
And if are serious about your online business and continue writing during the next 20 weeks, you will ensure that your blog will be regularly visited because it has reliable updates.
I look forward to reading more of Junji’s blog posts in the coming weeks. It would be good if future articles will be in the 400- to 800-word range, since the 250-word blog posts is just to get started.
Nowadays, if you want to provide something more substantial (as far as articles go) to readers, aim for 400 words.
And if you wish to keep your readers more engaged, add photos and even audio/video.
For our friends in SWA Ultimate who might get cold feet, please relax and just get started with short blog posts. Just like Junji did. π
And in time, you will harvest the fruits of your labor.
To Your Success! π
