It’s all over the internet and Philippine AM radios. Michael Jackson passed away last June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. And each time that bit of news is mentioned, people from my generation pause and say whatever it is they want to say, while trying to look calm and all.
Anyway, here’s a video showing one of the dance numbers of Michael Jackson:
Even if you weren’t a fan, and no matter if you were born in the 60s or 70s, or even if you were not some reporter of GMA 7 who got to personally meet Michael Jackson when he held a concert in the Philippines, there’s no denying that somehow, your life was directly or indirectly touched by this man.
And when you find yourself alone and thinking about what your life was like way back when Michael Jackson’s music filled your time, when you uncontrollably reminisce, well…
Whatever you do, try to resist the urge to sing “One Day In Your Life” while your you’re driving in your car by yourself. You’ll be sorry. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
