What do those icons or symbols which appear near the top of the screen mean?
Please refer to page 19 of the Samsung Galaxy Fit Manual, and you will see the list of Indicator Icons.
If you see a “G”, “E” or “3G” symbol, it’s possible that you are incurring internet charges even if you’re not even surfing. That’s how my Globe prepaid load got wiped out, even though I wasn’t going online.
Perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Fit was checking my GMail for email messages.
Anyway, simply configure your smartphone to NOT connect to the internet and simply rely on free WiFi instead. 🙂
