Filipino network marketers have been debating about how to start, and whether to speak first with your warm market (people who know you), or your cold market (complete strangers).
Here’s something to think about given the increasing popularity of the internet and online products…
Some people selling electronic books or ebooks have SWA Ultimate mentors or uplines who are encouraging them to go after the Warm Market first, rather than the Cold Market.
Here’s my question, though: Why are most of SWA customers total strangers?
That’s what I learned from Coach Kiko Javier, member 001 of the Supreme Wealth Alliance Ultimate program. Most of his downlines are people has hasn’t personally met.
Perhaps some of the more traditional networkers are still relying on the Kamag-Anak, Kapatid, Kapamily, Kaklase, Kapitbahay, Kaibigan, Ka-FX approach.
Yes, they’re still highly focused on that direct selling technique, even if the product is an online non-tangible item such as an ebook.
Such Uplines are worried that if their downlines offer SWA to the Cold Market (total strangers), the potential REJECTION will de-motivate the downlines and they might quit.
Here’s my question: What happens if your Warm Market rejects you?

And that’s why I highly encourage Pinoy network marketers to blog or publish online.
The fact is, you can experience rejection from either your Warm Market or your Cold Market.
Now when you have your own blog (or website or Facebook wall or Facebook group/fan page), both your Warm and Cold Markets can see what you’ve written.
Yes, they can read your blog post or listen to your audio recording or watch your video… even while you are fast asleep.
And if they’re interested, that’s the time they will call you.
Sila ang lalapit po sa inyo. Hindi po kayo ang desperadong hahabol-habol.
Why Are Some Uplines Discouraging Blog Marketing?
Here are some possible reasons:
1. They don’t know how to teach their downlines to blog.
2. They don’t understand online marketing.
3. They’re actively marketing online, but don’t want to upgrade the SKILLS of their downlines and turn them into competitors.
Ask yourself this:
What kind of SPECIFIC training has my Upline given me? Panay pa-motivation lang ba o may mga specific do-this, do-that step-by-step tutorial?
Does Blog Marketing Work?

Is Face-to-Face Warm Marketing More Effective Than Internet Marketing?
You can easily answer this for yourself by simply looking at how many people you have referred to your ONLINE network marketing or MLM business opportunity, and counting who of those are your relatives, family members, or high school classmates.
Now count how many were complete strangers.
Sino po ang mas marami?
Most likely, those people who join you are people who are (from the start) really interested in network marketing.
And most likely, they’re not your relatives.
How can you find people who want to work with you?
Publish things online which are useful or entertaining, and people who appreciate what you’ve done will get in touch with you.
