If you know what people are paying for online, then you will know what to offer or sell to them, so that YOU can make money online. Here’s the inside scoop…
Check out the Pew Internet Report: 65% of internet users have paid for online content (by Jim Jansen)
For those of you interested in earning a passive income online, here are some highlights of that survey or report:
- 18% have paid for digital newspaper, magazine, or journal articles or reports
- 12% have paid for digital photos
- 11% have paid for members-only premium content from a website that has other free material on it
- 10% have paid for e-books
- 7% have paid for podcasts
There are 15 items in the original list, with 6% of the respondents saying they paid for things not mentioned in the list of 15.
Anyway, why did I highlight the above five items?
The typical employee who wants to gain an additional income stream can do any of the above five items.
You can write a short report.
You can take photos using a digital camera.
You can blog.
You can write a longer report and turn it into an ebook.
You can record your voice and turn your report into a podcast.
In other words, you have the power to make money online!
In the Philippines, for example, there are an estimated 29 million internet users. Take 10 percent of that, and you have 2.9 million people who are willing to pay for a report (whether it’s in the form of text, image, or audio).
Would you like to learn how to create such reports, whether for yourself or for others (as a virtual assistant)? Please let me know. Thanks!
