Do you need a reason to blog? Not really. But it helps to have a deep reason if you want to be able to keep on blogging for quite some time. Here are some of my reasons…
Reason # 1: I want to help hundreds of thousands of people learn. There are just so many hours in a day, and it will be quite challenging to help a LOT of people via email, landline, or cellphone. With a blog, people can learn from me, even while I sleep. π
Reason # 2: I enjoy learning about internet marketing and online businesses. One of the fastest ways to succeed in your online business is to publish content online, and one of the easiest ways to do that is by having your own blog.
Reason # 3: I want to connect with more people. It’s obvious that more people are spending more time on the internet (especially on Facebook). If you want to network with more people, you will need to show up where the people are. So blogging is one way for me to show up in the online world of Pinoys. π
Wait… why am I writing this blog post? Is it because of Ria Jose’s webhosting contest?
This is an entry to a blogging contest sponsored by Life with Ria and WebSpark.net.
If ever this blog post wins, I would like to donate the free webhosting for a year package back to the contest participants of Ria.
Ria — feel free to add my slot to the Randomizer draw (if ever I win any of your webhosting packages). Also, http://www.riajose.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/300X250.gif does not appear, perhaps due to the image leeching protection in RiaJose.com
(Then again, you’re probably tracking the number of references to that graphic via http://bit.ly/websparkhosting+?)
Well anyway…
To those who want to become Pinoy Virtual Assistants, or who want to try out blogging, please join Ria’s Why I Blog Contest. π
