That’s strange. For some reason, there’s an issue with the current permalinks in this site. Specifically, the previous entry. When I click on the long URL, we just get redirected to the main homepage.
I suspect it may be a plugin issue, or something with the theme. The weird thing is, the other posts seem to be all right.
I’ll go test if this “WordPress Loop Error” post is handled correctly by WP. Will just add updates here after we figure out what’s going on.
UPDATE: I solved the blog post redirecting to homepage error by simply editing the URL shown in the permalink. The original URL was viloria.net/archives/smartmms-stopped-working
I tried the following variations, all of which produced the same 302 redirect error:
smartmms-stoppedworking
stopped-working
smartmms-not-working
smartmms-notworking
So I finally settled with just viloria.net/archives/smartmms
For some reason the word “working” appearing in the URL makes the blog post redirect. Weird. Will make more WordPress tests in the coming days…
UPDATE #2: It was the GoCodes plugin. For some reason, when the plugin is activated, if your URL ends in the word “working” that page will redirect to the homepage. Will have to check the GoCodes setting.
